About Pastor David

Pastor Dr. David Aaron Johnson served as the Pastor of Zion A.M.E. Church in Brunswick Missouri (1998 – 2001), Flipper Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church (Now Power of Faith A.M.E.), Kansas City, Missouri (2001 to 2005), and Walker Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church (2005 – 2012) where his ministry focus has been in the areas of evangelism, church growth, reconciliation, Christian education, leadership development and worship. 

Pastor Johnson matriculated with associates in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn Valley Community College, Bachelor of Science, Mathematics, Minor Computer Science, 1996 from Park College, Parkville Missouri;  Master’s of Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology, Kansas City, Missouri in 2003, Doctorate in Ministry from Rapha Deliverance University, Redlands, CA in 2020. 

Pastor David has had a burden to plant a church since approximately 2001. Little did he know that the Lord had a plan to unleash him in a faith journey that would take him to Washington State. In 2005 as part of his itinerancy Pastor David met his future wife, Shari Lyn Johnson who was a ministry candidate at Allen AME Church in Tacoma, WA. David and Shari were married in May of 2007 raising three righteous seeds together and then gave birth to a daughter in 2009. Together in ministry David and Shari are walking out the ministry vision “to exemplify the love of Christ in the Spirit of Excellence to the community, the nation and the world, to be a beacon of hope for all.”  They fully believe “There is no limit to your potential in God.” “There is no limit to our potential when we are united in God.”
